Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the community.
1. Ethical Policy: The Core Pillars
The foundation of this community is the shared commitment to the integrity of the Executive Assistant profession.
-
Confidentiality First: Members must never share "Inside EA FACTION Network" information regarding their principals, companies, or proprietary projects. Any Flow of information outside the network must go through approval and consent process of the IP owner or the admin/leadership team of the community.
-
Conflict of Interest: Members must disclose if they are promoting a product or service they have a financial stake in or any interest there of that directly places it in conflict of the mission and purpose of EA FACTION.
-
Professional Integrity: Members agree to represent their skills and experience honestly. Plagiarism of templates or resources provided within the community for external resale is strictly prohibited.
2. Code of Conduct: Community Engagement
This section governs how members interact with one another to ensure a safe, productive environment.
-
Radical Professionalism: Treat every member with the same respect you accord your executive. Disagreements are welcome; personal attacks are not.
-
Zero Tolerance for Harassment: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or religion.
-
The "Vegas Rule": What is discussed in the community stays in the community. Screenshots or sharing of member-to-member advice outside this platform is a breach of trust.
-
No Solicitation: This is a space for growth, not a marketplace. Direct messaging members to sell services (VA services, coaching, software) without prior admin approval will result in removal.
3. Communication Policy: Voice and Tone
To keep the community searchable and professional, all communication should follow these guidelines:
-
Channel Hygiene: Post queries in the appropriate channels (e.g., #Travel-Logistics, #Tech-Stack, #Career-Growth).
-
Clear Subject Lines: Use descriptive headers for new posts to help members find information later.
-
Tone of Voice: Aim for a tone that is resourceful, encouraging, and succinct. We value each other's time.
-
Response Etiquette: When someone provides a helpful solution, acknowledge it with a "thank you" or a reaction emoji to maintain a culture of gratitude.
4. Administrative & Operational Policies
These "other" policies ensure the community runs smoothly from a technical and legal standpoint.
Membership & Access
-
Vetting Process: All members must verify their identity or professional status via LinkedIn or a work email to ensure the community remains a peer-to-peer network.
-

Content Ownership
-
Shared Resources: Any templates, checklists, or SOPs uploaded to the "Resource Library" are for the personal/professional use of members but remain the intellectual property of the original creator or the community.
Crisis Management
-
